These General Terms and Conditions govern the temporary accommodation contract between the guesthouse Don Diego Luxury Rooms, located in Vico Dei Vespri Siciliani 2, Taormina (ME), ZIP code 98089, and the Guest, who accepts the following conditions upon confirmation of the booking, whether made directly, online, or through third-party platforms.

The Property agrees to provide the Guest with a temporary accommodation service, according to the features and terms agreed at the time of booking, for strictly tourist and/or short-term purposes only.

• The booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the deposit.
• Confirmation implies full acceptance of these general terms and conditions.

• Prices are per room, per night, unless otherwise stated, and include the services listed in the offer.
• Payment can be made in cash within the legal limits, by credit card, debit card, or bank transfer.
• The balance is generally required the day before check-in, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The tourist tax of EUR3 per person, per night, is to be paid by the Guest and is not included in the room price unless explicitly indicated.

• Cancellations must be communicated in writing.
• In case of cancellation less than 15 days before the arrival date, or in case of no-show, the deposit will be retained or charged up to 100% of the agreed amount, based on the cancellation policy communicated at the time of booking.

• Free check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Check-out must be completed by 11:00 AM.
• Arrivals outside these hours must be arranged in advance and will be subject to an additional fee.

• Guests agree to use the premises and furnishings with care and to return them in the same condition as they were found.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms and all indoor common areas.
• Access to the property by non-registered persons is not allowed without prior authorization from the management.

• The Property shall not be held liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings left unattended in the rooms or common areas.
• Any damage caused by the Guest will be charged accordingly.

The Property shall not be held liable for the failure to fulfill the contract in the event of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, service disruptions, unforeseeable events) that prevent the provision of accommodation.

The Property reserves the right to assign a room of equal or higher category at no extra cost in case of technical issues or organizational needs.

Guest personal data will be processed in accordance with current legislation (GDPR – EU Reg. 2016/679). The full privacy policy is available on the website.

This contract is governed by Italian law. For any dispute, the court with exclusive jurisdiction is that of the place where the guesthouse is located.

By confirming the reservation, the Guest declares to have read, understood, and fully accepted these general terms and conditions.
